Production Technology
The main materials include marble, ceramic tile, wood veneer, stainless steel, metal mesh and wallpaper. The space adopted natural wooden furniture, freehand paintings and concise lines to create a Chinese-style elegance by the use of modern block design techniques. The staircase is separated by a metal net, through which the sight is not completely blocked, where the dining area and the landscape balcony can be seen. In the study, the jazz white, black and white marble and bronze brushed stainless steel complement each other with a sharp contrast, showing a transparent and simple noble texture.
Design Challenge
The entire entrance hall is well-ordered, with a contemporary interpretation of oriental ideas, where the hustle and bustle fades away, allowing all senses to be relaxed freely in silence.
Project Duration
The project started in February 2019 and finished in October 2019 in Chengdu, China.
Operation Flow
In response to the client's need to expand the area of the guest dining room and the master bedroom, the design team adopted an open kitchen combined with a dining room. The three rooms on the second floor were changed into two rooms, which increased the area of the master bedroom suite and equipped with cloakroom, study and bathroom.

The interior design simplifies the complexity, highlights the details and the beauty of proportions, and emphasizes the perfect combination of the rational layout of the space as well as the use of functions.
Inspiration
The space design is inspired by the nature and eastern culture. The boundaries between the inside and outside are blurred, forming an integrated connection.The space is merged into the unconscious power of nature, creating more possibilities for living.
Project Overview
Eastern Mansion Sample Room has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
