With the meaning of "ever-growing" in Chinese as the Bank's major business statement, the Chinese bamboo tree became the leading concept of the entire design. IMO design have created a modern facade with aluminum alloy piling a five-store high building featuring the structure is designed to reference the bamboo growing characteristics with interpretation of the Bank taken root in Hong Kong with spirit of perseverance and vigorous growth.

IMO design have created a modern facade with aluminium alloy piling a five-storey high building featuring the structure is designed to reference the bamboo growing.
The facade design development needs to balance brand elements, Three-dimensional visual, and building regulations at the same time. The projection from the existing building only allows 350mm. 3D Model and repeatedly partial mockup were reviewed on-site are required in order to get the most perfect result.
The project started in Match 2018 in Hong Kong and finished in Jan 2019.
As the bank hall is positioned on the first floor, designer opened up the facade and created a full-height glazing all the way from ground level to the first. This new intervention translates the transparency of customer service complied by the bank.
