Operation Flow
Efficient: Outer shells hiding each other's screw details. Easy assembly sequence Usable: Simple look, hidden mechanical details, 360 degree high contrast warnings, identical keyboard and GUI, tidy cabling, easy carriage and stabilizing, ergonomic sizes, reachable SOS button location avoiding accidental interactions. Error warnings and annual maintenance notifications in GUI.
Research
Benchmark and field researches are done. The needs of operators and passengers are specified and the design is conducted according to the outputs. Confusing interactions are simplified. Different materials and finishing methods are gathered together from different product types to make a difference in the appearance of the X-ray market. Goals: - Unique design language for further product family. - Simple, understandable and safe for both the operator and passenger.
Inspiration
rugged and strong: Sharp chamfers suitable for sheet metal bending with the gofrato paint end modern and elite: Reflective dark glass/film in the front, thin red lights in the corners, simple interface rememberable: Enlightened brand name on the front dark glass, leading a high-tech and reliable first impression which shows that it is a technically advanced dual view X-Ray inspection system which is competitive, ergonomic, safe, user friendly and simple.
