Its eco compactor trash bin minimizes the waste and reduces carbon emissions by retaining more dirt to lower the frequency of emptying and eliminating the need for a large dust collecting base. Furthermore, Its mopping pad reciprocates and applies force against the floor to remove the stains and raises to avoid wetting the carpet; it is also easy to maintain, the tangless suction picks up the hair before the brushroll, so the users will not need to clean it after use.

Legee D8 goes green with its patented eco friendly concept. While it stands out from other cleaning robots due to efficient vacuuming and mopping, and easy maintenance, its most unique feature is the eco compactor trash bin, which can retain five times more dirt than other cleaning robots. In order to incorporate a strong and stable enough compressor into the trash bin, the wind resistance and mechanical strength are carefully calculated by the engineers. After the prototype is made, fine changes followed by a series of experiments helped the team to ensure the trash compression goes smoothly while clearing the filter seamlessly. The material of the part is extra durable, and the realization of the design is precisely executed to ensure the quality of the final products.
The project started in January 2022 in Taiwan and finished in December 2022 in Taiwan, and was launched in Taiwan in December 2022 and will be available globally in March 2023.
With its front suction and brushroll to clean with 5000pa suction and reciprocation mopping to shine the floor, it also leaves no tangled hair on the brushroll, making it easy to maintain after use. A built in eco compactor trash bin of leegeD8 that can free up to 5 times more capacity by squeezing the trash and clearing the filter to maintain strong suction at the same time. This feature eliminates the need for an extra dust collecting base, making it an eco friendly choice for users.
In this applied research, the objective is to simplify the maintenance experience while also minimizing the environmental impact. The design team observed that most of the dirt in the trash bins is often loosed. After calculation and experiments, the additional flap inside of the trash bin is designed to compress the dirt and clears the air channel. The design eliminates the need for a dust collecting base and the disposable dust bag waste, making Legee D8 a green choice for user and the planet.
Legee D8 eco compactor is a leading go green design of vacuum mop robots. Drawing inspiration from rubbish trucks, its built in trash pressor allows the trash bin to contain up to 5 times more dirt, extending its usage span after each empty. Unlike other brands that require a dust collecting base that can take up much space, Legee D8 eco compactor offers the same convenience within its compact mechanism and does not require a dust bag.
