Unique Properties
Aurora is inspired by the dawn, which symbolize hope. Aurora's outer ring of light in the form of gradient, giving a visual experience that is either serene or passionate. Metal leg supports the colourful glass tabletop, both storytelling and vitality, which can meet the emotional needs of different people while adapting to any living environment. Whether it's a lively party with friends and family, or a quiet and leisurely time alone, anyone can find their spiritual home on this table.

Production Technology
Aurora uses round table surface and legs, which is friendly and natural.There is a circle of light strips around the inside of the disc. When the lights are turned on, the light shines inward. It is equipped with foggy glass, which is hazy and mysterious.Touch switch and remote control can be operated to control three lighting modes, both convenient and quick.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge in the design process is the hidden design of the light strip and the choice of the glass countertop material. The hidden light strip design makes the product more exquisite, with the matte glass adds haze and mystery to the product. I hope this product can bring users a pleasant experience.
Project Duration
The project started in Shenzhen in February 2023 and completed in Shenzhen in June 2023.
Operation Flow
The Aurora bar table uses three light modes to create an entertainment atmosphere exclusive to users through a simple button: the colorful constant light mode is a fashionable decoration of daily life, the breathing light mode is a quiet companion for alone time, and the flash mode is an exciting booster for a multi-party gathering. The illuminated matte glass adds a touch of haziness and mystery to wine sets, while waterproof structure of the tabletop prevents spilling drinks during parties.
Research
As life returned to normal after the COVID-19, the desire to socialise became stronger and Home Parties became popular. It's a place where people can communicate their feelings and share their joys. Creating a perfect "party" interactive space, comfortable atmosphere are essential elements. Aurora has three lighting modes to meet the needs of different scenarios, such a small gathering of friends, or a large-scale Home Party can meet.
Inspiration
Liberating people's spirits in the post epidemic era. More and more people are focusing on improving the quality of life, with an overflowing desire to share. Therefore, furniture like Aurora, which is colourful and shows the vitality of life, comes into being. It can be a decoration of home, a business card to show aesthetics, but also can become a bridge of communication between friends, leading us to rethink the way people communicate with others and with themselves in the post epidemic era.
Project Overview
Aurora Bar Table has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
