MiiTi is a high temperature infrared grill designed for indoor use. Operating at approximately 400°C, it delivers direct and uniform heat transfer, preserving moisture and natural flavor. Its top mounted heating system reduces smoke and odor by preventing direct oil contact. The top down configuration enables consistent results across different food thicknesses. With its compact form, modular structure, ergonomic handling, and inox body with glass detailing, it adapts to contemporary kitchen environments and offers an alternative approach to conventional grilling methods.

MiiTi is manufactured using stainless steel and tempered glass, ensuring hygiene, durability, and easy cleaning. All materials are food-contact safe and long-lasting. The recyclable structure supports sustainable manufacturing and ease of repair. Designed for mass production, it uses recyclable components and optimized assembly to minimize environmental impact.
The main challenge was selecting materials that withstand extreme heat without deformation, as cooking temperatures reached 400 - 500 degrees Celsius. Ensuring safety and durability required multiple tests. Sourcing suitable infrared filaments with precise specifications was also difficult. These obstacles demanded intense research, collaboration with suppliers, and careful engineering to bring the concept to life.
The project started in July 2021 and finished in April 2025 in Eskisehir, Tanatar Die and Stamps co. ltd.
Cooking with MiiTi feels easy and comfortable. Place your food, adjust the top, and turn the knob. In seconds, the surface sizzles, locking in all the flavor. The tray glides out smoothly, making it safe to check and handle your meal. Less smoke, less smell, less cleanup. What remains is the joy of cooking - faster, cleaner, and full of rich taste, like a perfect grill night, but right in your kitchen.
The need for faster cooking among individuals with busy lifestyles was observed. To replicate the flavor of grilling indoors, the wavelength of infrared filaments was analyzed and confirmed to match the emission spectrum of glowing charcoal embers. In university-supported tests, MiiTi was compared with a conventional oven and a charcoal grill; pH and acrylamide levels were equivalent, while MiiTi cooked significantly faster. These findings laid the foundation for a high-performance, energy-efficient cooking system with broad application potential.
MiiTi merges traditional cooking with fast, energy-efficient infrared technology to meet modern expectations of speed, flavor, and cleanliness. Research focused on reducing smoke and odor while enhancing usability, hygiene, and taste. The project was inspired by the challenge of achieving the intense sear and satisfaction of grilling, without the drawbacks of outdoor cooking.
