Unique Properties

Colourliving, Hong Kong’s one-stop lifestyle concept destination, has opened the doors to B&B Italia’s new mono-brand showroom, presenting the luxury furniture brand’s timeless designs in an environment that reflects the striking settings architect Antonio Citterio has created for the brand in Italy. The new Hong Kong boutique is located in a 3,700sq.ft. space above Colourliving’s flagship store. Its clean-lined, contemporary design provides a fitting backdrop to sofas, wall systems, beds, outdoor furniture and Backstage – an elegant walk-in wardrobe designed by Citterio in hand-finished leather and wood – which is available for the first time in Hong Kong. There are multiple areas to showcase the different styles - ranging from the minimalist to the decorative, but always with an accent on contemporary living.

Production Technology

The new outpost not only provides top-notch B&B Italia collections, but also a holistic service, sharing with customers the latest views on home living trends in line with the brand’s philosophy.

Design Challenge

The showroom also features a unique outdoor collection by B&B Italia. The Gio, designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia in 2016, is a contemporary classic dedicated to living in the open air. With a basic structure of wooden slats, all the padded elements of the sofa have a polyester cover with water-repellent treatment, for better protection from the weather. The fabrics are all certified for resistance to weathering, ultimately maintaining softness for users' enjoyment.

Project Duration

The project is located at the 31/F. of COLOURLIVING in Hong Kong, which is a one-stop distinctive lifestyle concept store. Project started in January 2017 in Hong Kong and finished in March 2017.

B&B Italia Hong Kong showroom not only provides top-notch B&B Italia collections, but also a holistic service, sharing with customers the latest views on home living trends in line with the brand’s philosophy.

B&B Italia Hong Kong Retail Showroom has been a Golden winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
