Unique Properties

It comes another challenge that we have to create a flexible element can be change easily by location and time.Therefore,a feature wall with thousands of blue acrylic sticks was created as a flexible element that can be adjust with different pattern.

Production Technology

With the requirement of sound-proof,it not only all the ceiling were designed with acoustic material,but also the half curve ceiling along the feature wall is applied with acoustic perforated panel. This wall,meanwhile,becomes the flexible feature wall with thousands of blue acrylic sticks on. The brand color comes along with all material from bespoke pattern tile,powder-coded metal to fabric and leather which enhance the consistency of their brand recognition which at the same time echoed all the shape and delivered a strong modern 2D geometric scenario to the environment.

Design Challenge

The most difficult challenge is to applying the big scale curve shape into different area with different custom material in the condition of very low budget.

Project Duration

The project is location in shanghai which started from October 2019 and finished on December 2019

Operation Flow

The restaurant is targeting the family customer and youth , in order to fit different kind of customer , we applying multiple type of flexible tables in the layout for single, 2 people , 4people or a group more than 10 to use. The customer flow is clearly leading by the seating area, that they can easily choose where they want to seat.

Research

Before we starting design the space , we did research a lot backgounrd of the brand and original idea of creating the new secondary brand by interviewing and discussing with the brand team and our clients. By undersanding how the client want to achieve for the project, we also did a lot research on the similar restaurant brand and customer expectation.

Inspiration

As a pizza restaurant,the overall concept inspiration is coming from the geometric form of pizza slides when cutting and sharing.
