Chaoyue Nantang tells the marine civilization of the seafaring city, which is advancing bravely. It also shows the genes and history of the harbor and let people feel the design charm of space opening from inside.

Production Technology
Integration of art installations, Sunshine and reef, ocean and navigation, wind and tide changes... The design breaks the shackles of time and space. Indoor space uses the expression of natural landscape and integrates its broad vision and humanistic background. A ship wood plant device eroded by seawater tells stories of past culture. The photographic work "Sea" expresses life's awe of the ocean and nature. and is also a tribute to life and nature.
Design Challenge
The project locates in an modern international marine city, but old district. The location also misses natural landscape. The challenge is to find the specific space character and features of marine city. Through design, natural landscape comes from inside space. It gives audiences open and relaxing feelings . The open space is as free as the ocean. Art pieces strengthen the theme and gives the space a multi-level richness.
Project Duration
Project start and end time: 2019.06-2020.08 Project Address: Ningbo, Zhejiang
Operation Flow
1.Refine floor plans and do layout design in a rigorous way. 2.Refine 3D models and do reasoning and verification of the space. 3.Make project on-site stakeout and consider dimension and light condition of the space 4.Order custom-made art pieces, do material selection, control details of project construction 5.Render the complete space with famous photographers.
Research
Returns to local culture and spirituality. Through the rustic and wild nature of space, the design tries to restore the natural truth of the earth. At the same time, in the transition of space, through philosophical expression of literature, art and design, the designer tries to give the space some spirit, local culture and energy.
Inspiration
