Leading power control:15kw,far ahead of competitors, allows better resolution+continuous exposure time. Extreme lightweight C-ring allows 40% deduction in scan time,&close to operating table. All-in-one,slim fit easy to transport

Project Duration

The project started in March 2021 in Nanjing China and finished in January 2022. The product have entered into mass production and is used in hospitals.

Research

Hundreds of stakeholders were surveyed.Applied in-depth function analysis of competitors,patent layout analysis and protection. C-Arm is a mature market,3D C-Arm sales are very limited.Demand of robotic surgery brought a huge market to 3D C-Arm.Existing C-Arm designed for manual surgery,has huge drawbacks to work with robot: Complex procedures,inefficient,patient anesthesia risk,collision risk,high radiation,big size,low intelligence,poor images+surgical adaptability+visual field,low 3D accuracy

Inspiration

C-Arm is a must have for the popular Orthopedic robots, while existing-C-Arm doesn’t fit to robots. Workflow: Except 13-step surgical process,robot+existing C-Arm ask an extra 15-step and a technician to finish preoperative preparation, and additional 10-20min surgical time,reduced surgical efficiency and added patients’ anesthesia risk. Large size of existing dual-trolley C-Arm affect surgeons’ work space, surgical result,even surgical safety. Operation room:limited space,densely equipped and staffed.
