Classroom Renovation for MisoSoupDesign
The design concept of Renai Art Lab revolves around the idea of curves, graceful, fluid lines that evoke a sense of movement and energy. The large curved wall mimic the organic shapes found in nature, providing comfort and flexibility for students to work in various positions and angles. At the heart of the studio, a large whiteboard stretches across one wall, waiting to be transformed into a masterpiece. The canvas itself curves gently, mirroring the fluid lines of the furniture and accentuating the sense of movement and dynamism in the space.

The space is mainly divided into a stage area and a teacher teaching area, so that students are no longer just passive participants in class, but also the focus on the stage. The space behind the stage can be used for multiple functions, with a vibrant yellow color as background. In addition to providing storage function, it can also be used as a space for children to explore and read. The teacher's teaching area uses brick red paint as the base to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning and enhance creativity.

Wood carpentry, in site painting
The challenge of this design is to implement the aesthetic education into the classroom planning, which is choice of colors, material and texture, and geometries introduced in the space.
The project started in April 2023 in Taipei and finished in September 2023.
The space equipped with large size interactive monitor for the teacher to freely draw, present, and play motion graphic. The students can explore their interest in crating art, reading books, or relaxing in the arcove.
This project is a part of renovating educational space for younger children, such as elementary, junior, and high school. The principal of design approach is to enhance student's exposure to the high aesthetic standard while learning at their school.
As an experimental space, we hope to change the using methods of art classrooms and use multi-faceted design techniques to make a creative platform that can be used in multiple ways. The interesting environment allows students to improve their creative thinking abilities.
