The packaging design incorporates the magnolia book element, with branches and leaves taken from the magnolia in Jiangnan gardens, and the flower shape is transformed into an open book page, creating a book with fragrance environment.

Design Challenge

The most difficult part of this project is the production of the aromatherapy candle container. Because it needs to be combined with China's intangible cultural heritage skills, we need to adjust the drawing of the manual part many times. The thickness of the lines has gone through several rounds of debugging before we finally achieved a complete presentation effect.

Project Duration

The project started in February 2024 in Suzhou, China and finished in May 2024 in Suzhou, China.

Operation Flow

The simple graphic design and elegant green tones allow customers to deeply feel the aromatic scent of the Whispers of Ink fragrance series.

Research

VITARTISSIMI has teamed up with the time-honored Chinese brand "Qiaojiayao" and Shanxi Province's intangible cultural heritage "Fahua" ceramic craftsmanship to launch the "Moxiweifu" fragrance series, using the power of design to solve the problem of revitalizing intangible cultural heritage while taking into account both market aesthetics and cultural heritage.

Inspiration

The scented candle container uses vertical line technology to hand-draw the delicate flower scenes of Jiangnan, and every stroke is ingenious. It is covered with grass green "enamel glaze", which is as luster and warm as jade and transparent as glass. It not only reflects the beauty of spring in Jiangnan, but also adds a touch of classical charm and harmonious resonance of modern aesthetics.
