Unique Properties

The idea is to bring the characteristics of the product through the use of visual elements, connecting the shoe direct to the customers life style. The mood also transmits lightness, present on the shoe essence. Everything made in 3D without scans

Production Technology

The boot was modeled using photographs as a reference and hard surface 3D modeling techniques. For modeling we used the software 3ds Max. All the textures made using leather texture and some photoshop brushes. Redshift was used for rendering and Houdini for Simulations

Design Challenge

The hardest part was making the simulations, considering that there's a lot of elements that hard to be perfectly represented as the real world

It toke around 2 months to finish

Operation Flow

The animation visual was used on online such product website, instagram and facebook. The main focus was to attract attention to the product, bringing in the composition elements that generate the necessary sensations without the need for explanatory texts. Competitors often use images without a strong visual appeal, so the product, especially in the online market, goes unnoticed. The excess of texts works negatively in most of these cases, underestimating the viewer's intellect.

Research

The work was executed based mainly on the previous experiences in other works for several companies of the sector footwear, in very natural way. Feedback was collected mainly online about the quality of the 3D itself as well as the sensations that people had in the first contact with the art.

Inspiration

We where inspired by nature elements, connecting the image directly with the customers life style. The water element is fully connected to the product features, as well the cloud element that represents lightness.

Project Overview

Vessi Animation Website and Social Media has been a Silver winner in the Movie, Video and Animation Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
