Mtn Dew found a creative way to recapture some of the fun of our collective cake worthy celebrations, birthdays, weddings, graduations, or even life itself and created a cake flavored Dew. It was time for a Do-Over. Speaking directly to consumers' missed milestones, Mtn Dew delivered a product that captured the optimism and celebratory spirit that we all could use more of.

Inspiration

The brand surprised consumers with MTN DEW CAKE-SMASH, a fun and delicious cake-inspired, limited edition flavor. Speaking directly to consumers’ missed milestones, MTN DEW delivered a product that captured the optimism and celebratory spirit that we all could use more of. To bring this spirit to life, the Design Team created a visual world of exuberant candle characters across digital and pack graphics, bringing all the good vibes of a crowd gathered in celebration at a party.

Project Overview

MTN Dew Cake-Smash Beverage Packaging has been a Golden winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Gold A' Design Award is granted to designs that demonstrate a high level of innovation and a significant impact on their intended audience. Recognized as a major achievement by the A' Design Awards, these designs are characterized by their visionary approach and the exceptional skill of their creators.
